Quickie Darling Deal & Steal: Cheer Me Up With Booties On Sale!

There are certainly times when I don’t want to make these blog entries too personal, but since I am feeling kind of down & out after some rather shocking news at the office today, I thought I’d cheer myself up with some online shoe browsing.

My current spring budget has been tightened to virtually nothing, so please join me in admiring the ‘Ireesh’ platform bootie ($59.60) by Nine West.  They’re an awesome deal since they’re marked down from the original $149.00 price tag.

I can picture wearing these booties with some seriously studded leggings or a favorite pair of dark wash skinny jeans.  Or, if you’re a daring Style Darling like Rachel Bilson, juxtapose the edginess of the leather & faux shearling interior with a floral romper & chunky cardigan.

Luxury Look-Alikes For Less: Get Golden Globe Knock-Off Gowns @EDressMe!

Since it is awards season, watch out for knock off gowns worn by the hottest celebrities. Watch This Style: Madonna’s Most Fashionable Music Videos!

I’ve been talking about Madonna a lot lately, especially since her Super Bowl debut & I really wish the press would stop slamming her for an underwhelming performance.  She’s in her 50s & definitely has the skills to put on a great show, although I would’ve liked to have heard some more of her older songs which are certainly fan favorites.  It was really hard to pick out only five videos, but here’s are my favorites, both new & old.

Quickie Darling Deal & Steal: Where My Wedges At? DSW!

 I recently wrote about the Top 10 Wedges @Neiman Marcus, but of course, those are a little out of my price range for my current spring budget.  I took a click on over to DSW & hit up their clearance section, which to my surprise, had plenty of spring shoes from which to choose! That includes the sandy wedge sandals ($19.94) in black by Two Lips, which have a compare price of $85!  These are perfect for pairing with the latest styles in spring dresses, or with separates that include denim mini skirts, flirty blouses, & printed rompers.

Watch This Style: Liv Tyler Rocks Out For The Latest Givenchy Campaign For ‘Very Irresistible’!

Liv Tyler has been a spokesmodel for the French label Givenchy for quite some time now.  She’s showing off her rock roots & killer style in a new ad campaign for the brand’s fragrance Very Irresistible. While singing along to “Need You Tonight,” originally recorded by INXS, she looks amazing & puts other promo ads like Charlize Theron for Dior & Mena Suvari for Christian Siriano to shame! Quickie Darling Deal & Steal: No-Sweat Sale Prices on Sweaters @LOFT!

Thankfully, the weather in New York has been pretty mild this winter, but I know I’m a little sad since I haven’t been able to go all-out winterized with my wardrobe.  However, the bright side is that some of my favorite stores has really amazing & classic sweaters on sale now, especially since they’re clearing out their racks in preparation for spring.
