I’ve been keeping an eye out for the latest & most glamorous Resort 2014 Collections. I’m most impressed with what designer Erin Fetherston has revealed, especially since she’s co-starring in the collection, which further proves that designers should design what they want to wear. I love the delicate, feminine details of lace paneling, as well as sweet cut-outs & sweetheart necklines. With Grecian-inspired draping & mod silhouettes, this line has virtually everything for any kind of Style Darling, including pretty prints & pops of aqua & red.

Watch This Style: A Trailer To Tonight’s HBO Documentary Premiere of ‘Love, Marilyn!’

As many of you already know, I’m a huge Marilyn Monroe fan & it just came to my attention this afternoon that HBO is premiering a documentary about the actress whose personal journals & letters are narrating the deep, inner workings of her life. As a fan of her work, style, & a writer myself, I am so excited to see this documentary, which features appearances by some of Hollywood’s A-listers, lending their voice to Marilyn’s haunting, hopeful, & powerful words. This includes Uma Thurman, Evan Rachel Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Banks, & countless others. Take a look at the trailer below & tune in to HBO for what’s sure to be a compelling & intimate portrait of America’s most influential sex symbol.

Summer style seems to be in full throttle & the latest red carpet looks are nothing short of fabulous. Some of my favorite looks include Jennifer Lopez‘s sequin Tom Ford gown that she wore while attending the amfAR Inspiration Gala, Amy Adams in a lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with sorbet pointy toe shoes, & Uma Thurman‘s striking magenta Versace corseted gown with Chopard jewelry.

Also, this post’s gallery includes cute frocks like Diane Kruger‘s blush Jason Wu dress with ankle strap sandals, Hailee Steinfeld in a cobalt Sportmax dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, & Kerry Washington‘s colorblocked embellished dress. Lastly, Ashley Madekwe‘s Roksanda Ilincic jumpsuit is on-trend with head-to-toe black, as well as Kirsten Dunst in a Proenza Schouler shorts outfit with pointy toe pumps. Cover Craze: Lily Collins Gets Girly For Glamour’s July Issue!

Lily Collins is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most sought after it-girls, especially by the fashion world. Now, as the face of Glamour‘s July issue, the daughter of Phil Collins is sharing her thick brows & pouty smile with the magazine during a nothing-but-stylist cover shoot at Bergdorf Goodman. Clad in a smattering of designer duds, photographer Ellen von Unwerth captures the Mirror Mirror star in Emilio Pucci, Dior, Christian Louboutin, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Burberry Prorsum, & Gucci.

In addition to the amazing fashion, Lily’s natural beauty is accentuated by products from Lancôme, while sifting through towering platforms & wedges by Charlotte Olympia. Aside from looks all things spectacular in the magazine, the actress has four highly anticipated movies set to come out, including Stuck in Love, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Love Rosie, & The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes. Runway Rundown: Alice + Olivia’s Resort 2014 Collection!

There are just so many resort collections to cover & only one Style Darling to do the job, however one of my personal favorites of the season is the latest Alice + Olivia Resort 2014 Collection, which features plenty of youthful, yet sophisticated separates & dresses that are red carpet-ready & perfect for upcoming magazine editorials. The line includes feminine details like lace, bows, A-line skirts, floral prints, & fun colorblocking schemes which are sure to attract the likes of Taylor Swift, Diane Kruger, Emmy Rossum, Kerry Washington, & Zoe Saldana.

I love these designs by Stacey Bendet, which seem to be inspired by the fun & flirty nature behind the Betsey Johnson legacy, with a mix of preppy Michael Kors in there too. I’ve been watching a lot of Johnson’s reality show XOX Betsey Johnson on the Style Network, finding her efforts to rebuild her brand pretty inspiring myself. Let’s hope that color is here to stay, even as we’re still delving into summer with fall trends quickly on their way.
