Who says redhead can’t wear red?  Here’s Julianne Moore, so beautiful & elegant, wearing a look by Lanvin with ankle strap heels.  The mismatch of colors actually works here in crimson & burnt brick.  This creates a flawless silhouette, putting actresses twenty years younger than her to shame. Even if you add pointed toe pumps or a chain link belt, this can translate into an office look.

Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr goes a little gothic in all black, but with an animal print booties, she’s all about looking chic.  Although this is a jumpsuit from Juicy Couture by Erin Fetherston, all black separates can replicate this easy evening look.  To punch up the drama in this look, try a smoky eye & nude lip, or add a metallic clutch & brocade jacket. Or if you can’t find a jumpsuit, try pairing loose fitting pieces like a draped top tucked into harem pants with a cool belt.

Sienna Miller appears again!  The jetsetter is headed for a day of travel at LAX with super classic skinny blue jeans, black flats, a gray tee, leather jacket, printed scarf, & sunglasses.  Looking like a starlet, she’s wearing items that all of us have in our closets to grab at a moment’s notice. I love the basic black flats in this look & how even when at its most casual, gray really is a great go-to color for a tee.

We don’t often see separates like these looking so chic & elegant for a red carpet appearance.  While still trying to look ladylike yet comfortable during a cool evening, Keira Knightley choose a Chanel lightweight long-sleeved sweater & a layered translucent tea length skirt with polished black round toe pumps.  This is simply gorgeous for an upcoming holiday party or after work function.

Of course, here you can have the skirt tailored so that it comes up to tea-length.  The lace detail is really so very pretty & works nicely for a holiday occasion.  Happy Styling!

Fair-skinned it-girl Emma Stone is proving that neutrals like nude tones are super flattering, even if you’re on the pale side.  She’s wearing a cropped khaki jacket over a navy tee & draped printed skirt.  Wearing nude suede heels by Brian Atwood, her legs look a mile long.  Here on the Northeast coast, it may be a bit chilly to wear an ensemble like this, but if you’re on a press tour in Berlin, or taking in a day of the sites in California, then you’ve got the right look.

I found this image of Hillary Duff from back in 2006, but it’s utterly perfect for this fall’s trends.  With a brown leather jacket, grey tunic, grey skinny jeans, brown knee-high boots, she looks as if she’s straight out of a fashion magazine.  With a leather watch, satchel, & brown newsboy hat, she looks like she’s headed for a trendy event.
