Actress Olivia Wilde graces the cover of Glamour, discussing her upcoming 30th birthday, her newest role as motherhood to baby Otis (with fiancé Jason Sudeikis), changing how women are perceived in the film industry, & her latest HBO project with Martin Scorsese.

However, it’s time to talk about the fashion shoot, under the direction of famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier, Olivia’s cover look is romantic in a Lanvin dress & Dior flower scarf. Watch The Style: Scarlett Johansson & Matthew McConaughey Star In Dolce & Gabbana’s “The One”!

Dolce & Gabbana - The One, featuring Scarlett Johansson & Matthew McConaughey

Two of the biggest stars in Hollywood are lending their acting chops & model-worthy good looks to the fashion industry’s latest short film, Street of Dreams, directed by the one & only, Martin Scorsese. Dolce & Gabbana spokesmodel Scarlett Johansson & Southern heartthrob Matthew McConaughey join forces under Scorsese’s direction for this commercial / video, celebrating the Italian fashion house’s fragrance The One ($59.00 – $82.00), which can be purchased through the brand’s official website, Sephora, Macy’s, & Ulta.

In a recent press release, Domenico Dolce shared how pleased he was with the final result, as well as Scarlett’s performance: “Scarlett is the embodiment of ‘The One’ woman… She lives and breathes every womanly nuance. She exudes desire and innocence. She is both sobriety and sensuality. There is innocence in her eyes yet her smile is laced with mischief. She is a talented actress and a beautiful woman.

Below, check out the commercial of Scarlett, clad in the brand’s signature black lace & old Hollywood glamour, playing the role of ‘The One.’

Red Carpet Review: The Wild Looks From The MTV VMAs, Featuring Ciara, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, & More!

Music’s most popular & praised hit Brooklyn this weekend to celebrate the MTV VMAs. The ceremony featured a slew of performances that left audiences with their jaws on the floor & many heads scratched. I’m going to talk about talent here. I loved seeing Lady Gaga back in action, as well as the throwback to Justin Timberlake‘s career since his days in NSYNC & also, a memorable Bruno Mars who hit the stage with his new single, “Gorilla.”

However, we must consider the red carpet, which featured a lot of controversial looks, as well as elegant surprises. My favorites include sophisticated risk-takers like Selena Gomez showing her rock side in Atelier Versace, Katy Perry‘s leopard, leggy look by Emanuel Ungaro, Ciara in a Givenchy Couture, & Lady Gaga herself in a black Elvira-inspired look by Prabal Gurung. Of course, Taylor Swift looked stunning in Hérvé Leger & Naya Rivera‘s cut-out black gown was chic, but these girls need to learn to loosen up.

Which looks are your favorite? Which performance were you talking about the most on Monday morning? Do you think Miley Cyrus went too far during her performance? Some of my favorite looks include Jennifer Lopez‘s sequin Tom Ford gown that she wore while attending the amfAR Inspiration Gala, Amy Adams in a lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with sorbet pointy toe shoes, & Uma Thurman‘s striking magenta Versace corseted gown with Chopard jewelry.

Also, this post’s gallery includes cute frocks like Diane Kruger‘s blush Jason Wu dress with ankle strap sandals, Hailee Steinfeld in a cobalt Sportmax dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, & Kerry Washington‘s colorblocked embellished dress. Lastly, Ashley Madekwe‘s Roksanda Ilincic jumpsuit is on-trend with head-to-toe black, as well as Kirsten Dunst in a Proenza Schouler shorts outfit with pointy toe pumps. Other separates making a splash on the red carpet include Olivia Palermo in a Rebecca Minkoff blazer with a printed skirt & See by Chloe bag, & Rooney Mara‘s flirty ruffled navy J.W. Anderson design with black ankle strap sandals.

Watch This Style / Cover Craze: Kerry Washington’s Super Hot ELLE Cover For June!

I was a little late joining the I-Love-Scandal bandwagon & shame on me for not taking Olivia Pope‘s side, especially when I’ve been catching up on the series, which stars one of Hollywood’s hottest it-girls, Kerry Washington. Not only did she have a stellar 2012-2013 with the success of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, & her latest comedy Peeples, but the New York native has hit A-list status with her consistently glamorous red carpet appearances, as well as her powerhouse character, Olivia, on the Shonda Rhimes-created television show.

Next month, the actress is featured as ELLE‘s cover girl for June 2013, & she’s never looked better. The shoot, which features amazing looks that mix both regal opulence with all-American elegance, was captured by Horst Diekgergdes & styled by Samira Nasr. Never has a pair of hot pants or the combination of denim & haute couture looked so refreshing & sophisticated.

Also, in the video below, Kerry discusses the challenges she faced while taking on her slave character in Django Unchained, as well as her respect for the art of comic timing. In addition, ELLE quizzes the actress on various scenarios about what-would-Olivia-Pope-do?

I’m so happy to see Kerry take center stage, especially on the covers of my favorite fashion magazines.
